Dhaka is hosting the International Climate Action Conference 2026, bringing together leaders from over 100 countries to discuss and commit to new climate action targets. The conference, held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center, is considered one of the most significant climate gatherings since COP21.

Bangladesh Prime Minister highlighted the country's vulnerability to climate change: "As one of the most climate-vulnerable nations, Bangladesh calls upon the global community to take immediate and decisive action."
